Weerts Logistics Parks have committed to reducing their carbon footprint and, from 1 January 2021, to obtaining BREEAM certification for every future development, targeting a “Very Good” or even higher rating.
All of our recently completed developments have undergone a BREEAM In-Use assessment.

Solar panels on the roofs
Since 2020 Weerts Logistics Parks have been equipping their most modern buildings with solar panels, enabling tenants to source their own green energy. Current rooftop capacity is around 12 MWp, producing over 11,000 MWh a year — roughly the annual consumption of 3,700 households, and cutting CO₂ emissions by about 5,000,000 kg.
By 2024–2025 Weerts Logistics Parks will operate 60 MWp, generating 50,000 MWh a year.
